During our Spring Sharathon, scheduled for April 10 - 12, we will be presenting the financial needs of this ministry. Thanks to your response during the one-day “Bridge the Gap” fund raiser we were able to catch up and breathe easy for a while. Spring Sharathon will give us a chance to get ready for the rest of the year.
As most everyone knows, WWEV is a non-profit Ministry. All of our support comes from individuals and Christian Businesses who support us on a monthly or annual basis. We receive no support from any other source except donations.
We need to raise $250,000 during the Spring Sharathon to keep us on track till the next Sharathon in October. I appreciate your willingness to help. It is unusual for us to ever ask for support outside the Spring and Fall Sharathons. Our budget is based on the pledges and Underwriting commitments we receive and in the past donations have always exceeded those amounts. That was not the case this past year. Donations were down more than 20% and we are still off about $80,000 after raising $102,000 during the one day “Bridge the Gap” event.
