I would rather use this space for ministry and not fund raising. But it is your financial gifts that allow us the time to minister.
The Fall Sharathon comes at the end of the year but affects us all year long. It has always been the main Sharathon for us because we raise most of the funding for the upcoming year at this time.
The annual budget for this ministry is about one million dollars. Two thirds of that comes from private contributions. The remaining third comes from Business Underwriting. 100% of the funding is from Christian people who believe in and support the work of Christ through this ministry.
There are usually two Sharathons each year; one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Each one is three days in length. For the past couple of years however, we have been unable to raise and receive the necessary funding to keep us current without having special one day events or running funding announcements to help us catch up. In light of this it is our plan to schedule a “two day” Sharathon once each quarter next year. That is 8 days of fund raising each year instead of 6 and they will be spread throughout the year.

This Fall the Sharathon will be three days and will be scheduled to start at 6am and end at 7pm. Our teaching programs will air as usual without being pre-empted. We will air lots of music and present the financial needs of this ministry. I pray that you will respond.
Since
we will be having another Sharathon in January we will set the
goal for this Sharathon at $200,000. Any additional funds raised
will apply toward the total annual need.
