You have probably heard the expression "If you don't stand for something you may fall for anything." We are living at a time of historical significance where people may actually be on the edge of a freefall if they don't realize that they have been deceived.
The best way to get good people to do bad things is to prove to them somehow that it isn't really bad after all. We have come a long way since the days when television husbands and wives were not allowed to sleep in the same bed. Moral decay would be intolerable had it come suddenly. But, like the frog who would jump out of a pan of hot water if thrown in we allow our moral compass to dissolve slowly as the water temperature rises.
One of the long time excuses of every young person since Adam is "everybody is doing it." But this misguided thinking is no longer limited to our teens. We all find rationalization in the idea that acceptance of the choice of the majority gives license to the unthinkable sins of a sleeping nation.
Thirty years ago even non-Christians
knew that abortion was wrong. But since the government made abortion
legal even some Christians accept it as an alternative to giving
birth to their children.
Never before have we seen such a massive turn away from God in
favor of freedom to live life without any rules other than your
own. How far will God allow us to go?
The seats of congress are filled with leaders elected by people whose only interest is themselves. We complain about high taxes but fail to elect people who will lower them. We complain about education, healthcare and Christian values but fail to elect candidates who can change the system.
Instead we sit at home watching television which is filled with propaganda to increase our tolerance for sin. How many shows are on now that embrace, even glamorize the gay lifestyle. How many shows do we watch that make fun of traditional families. How can we tolerate people like Michael Moore who insult our values and our right to choose conservative alternatives?
The government, the media, and the education system all seem to be working in harmony to change our minds, hearts and spirit. All three of them share a common theme. The theme is "There is no God" and they are working in concert to prove it.
Once they remove our belief
in God it will set the stage for the antichrist. Hold on to Jesus
stronger than ever before. Stand up for Him. Proclaim His Lordship
in your life and take no substitution.
