Time has a way of slipping by doesn’t it. It seems to go pretty slow at first but gets faster and faster like a runaway train as time goes by. It is hard to believe that WWEV has been on the air since 1981 but it has. From humble beginnings with only 220 Watts and a few dedicated humble believers who wanted to see Christ proclaimed in Atlanta North Georgia to a Rock Solid 50,000 Watt Lighthouse for Jesus.
We have been through a lot over the years but have seen thousands of souls saved and thousands of lives changed for Jesus. We have been through the fire with FCC regulation changes, Christian gag orders and a society more interested in themselves than in seeing people reached for Jesus. But still we march on unwavering in our call to be a light in a darkening world.
Isn’t it interesting for example, that the liberal press has the right to say anything they choose in regard to politics but the Christian Press is forbidden by law from endorsing political candidates or encouraging listeners to vote in a certain way. Even a Church is gagged in this manner with all of us risking our non-profit status if we cross the line. I wonder why they don’t want Christians involved in politics. I think I know and you do too. “Separation of Church and State” misinterpreted intentionally to rid us of our Christian Freedoms.
Purest Christian Radio and Television is getting harder to find. By that I mean, Christian media that has a service goal not a profit goal. Our goal is not to raise Millions of dollars, our goal is to have enough money to pay the bills and reach Millions of souls.
